A few things worth knowing.
What does an ATS compatibility checker do?
AI assesses six areas: contact details, experience structure, dates and chronology, education and qualifications, skills readability, and text integrity and reading order. It suggests up to five prioritized improvements supported by examples from your CV. The preview helps you spot missing details or an unexpected reading order before you apply.
Will this tell me if I’ll get an interview?
No. This assesses ATS readability, not your match to a job or an employer’s hiring criteria. Different applicant tracking systems can interpret the same document differently.
Why can’t it read my scanned CV?
A scan can be an image with no selectable text. This checker does not use OCR. Export a text-based PDF from your original document, upload a DOCX, or paste the original text.
Is the checker free?
Yes. You can see your results without signing up. Import your content to open it directly in Jofibo’s editor. You can create a free account afterward. Some Jofibo features require a paid plan.
What happens to my CV?
The checker extracts your text, then sends it to our AI provider for readability feedback, without creating an account or saving the check in Jofibo. If you click the import button, your extracted content is sent to Jofibo’s existing resume importer and saved as a resume. Read our privacy policy for more information.
